November 5 - 7, 2010 - Mid Pines Hickory Open Championship - The Mid Pines golf course, designed in 1921 by architect Donald Ross, provides a perfect venue for hickory players. Experienced golfers will find the course a true test of their skills, while for the first time hickory player Mid Pines may prove to be a difficult, but enlightening challenge. November 20 - 21, 2010 - Annual Seagrove Pottery Festival - The Annual Seagrove Pottery Festival is the only event where the Seagrove area potters come together under one roof in their hometown to demonstrate, display and sell their work. The festival features first choice on new designs made especially for the event, limited edition special commemorative pieces and their popular Sunday Auction.
