February 12 - 13, 2010 - Heart N Soul of Jazz - Since 1986, the world's finest jazz artists liven up the Valentine's Day weekend during one spectacular jazz event at the Carolina Hotel, 80 Carolina Vista Drive in Pinehurst, NC. February 12 - 14, 2010 - Mid Pines Mens Invitational - The format is a Two-Man Team 36-Hole Better Ball format played on the famous Donald Ross designed course at Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club, 1010 Midland Road Southern Pines. For more information call (910)692-2114.

February 20 - 21, 2010 - Seagrove Winterfest - The Museum of NC Traditional Pottery, Seagrove, NC. Winterfest is a good time to break the grip of cabin fever with a visit to Seagrove, the birthplace of North Carolina traditional pottery. February 25, 2010 - Spelling Bee for Literacy - 7pm. An evening of light-hearted competition to benefit Moore County Literacy Council. Three-member teams compete for Best Spelling Team trophy, Best Team Costumes, and Most Team Spirit. Entry fee: $600 per team. Admission to audience: FREE, but donations are welcome!
